Pir Sohawa Breath-taking Spot Travel Guide

Mesmerizing view of Pir Sohawa, Islamabad

In a Glimpse

Margalla Hills, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range, offers stunning views of lush green trees and gloomy cerulean skies. Margalla Hills, known for its tranquil atmosphere and as one of Pakistan’s most famous weekend getaways, add tremendous touristy splendor to Islamabad, comparable to that of the Arabian Sea in Karachi. While many people prefer to go hiking in this area, you can take the famous Pir Sohawa Road if you like to travel by car. Pir Sohawa is situated at an elevation of approximately 3,100 feet (945 meters) above sea level.

Natural Splendor

Pir Sohawa Road is known for the famous Monal Restaurant, but it has much more to offer. This road is surrounded by beautiful scenery, one of the many reasons this place has attained the great attention of tourists in Islamabad.

The Beautiful scenery of Pir Sohawa road

There are many spots along the road to Pir Sohawa where you can park your car and enjoy a panoramic view of Islamabad. It starts at the Islamabad Zoo and Japanese Children Park. In this way, you’ll see a lot of cars and people trying to take in as much natural beauty as they can while taking photos to relive those moments later.

Many birds, including paradise flycatchers, spotted doves, eagles, falcons, yellow vented bulbuls, and Himalayan hawks, can be found in the Margalla Hills. The Margalla Hills are located in the northern part of Islamabad, Pakistan. They form the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range and are part of the Margalla Hills National Park.

If you carry your binoculars with you and use them at specific locations, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to see these birds.

Restaurants

Pir Sohawa in Islamabad is well-known among Islamabad and Rawalpindi locals and visitors from other cities. This is due to Monal Restaurant’s unrivaled success, renowned for its impressive ambiance and open-air seating arrangement. The restaurant serves all three meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and you will have to wait a few minutes for a seat. The Monal restaurant in Islamabad is located at an elevation of about 3,848 feet (1,173 meters) above sea level.

La Montana is located right next to Monal. From both restaurants, the view of Islamabad’s shimmering lights at night makes you want to stay longer.

Highland Country Club and Resort, which also offers overnight accommodations for vacationers, is another choice for fine dining. The club is a few kilometers up the road from Monal and provides an even better view of the area.

Conclusion

If you visit Islamabad first time, Pir Sohawa is a must-to-go place and should be on your bucket list. Its majestic natural beauty and serene environment make the visitors spellbound and take your heart away. In short, visiting this place can be the most beautiful moment of your life.
