The Basho Valley is on the way to Skardu and Gilgit. Basho Valley (Sultan Abad) has trout; however, a fishing license is necessary from Skardu’s Fisheries Department.

GTP’s exciting 7-day journey to Skardu begins with a departure from Islamabad, winding through locations such as Mansehra and the Kaghan Valley, concluding in a night stay at Batakundi Resort. The next day begins with a spectacular journey to Skardu via Babusar Pass and Lulusar Lake, which provides an excellent photographic opportunity. The program for the third day immerses visitors in Skardu’s delights, from the Shangrila Resort and Upper Kachura Lake to the historic Shigar Fort Residence. The fourth day brings you to Khaplu, where you can see the culturally rich Khaplu Fort and waterfalls. The following day takes you on an exciting 4×4 jeep ride to the scenic Deosai Plateau, stopping at Sadpara Lake and Sheosar Lake. The sixth day includes a visit to Naran Kaghan, with lunch at the famed Babusar Top, before wrapping out the tour on the last day with a gorgeous drive back to Islamabad.
